Negin Saffron are the best quality types of saffron in the world with slight differences. These premia all red saffron types have more coloring power compared to other types of saffron filaments. But, note that all people can not distinguish this difference in the coloring power and maybe, only experts can discern it.
Goliran Grade 1 Negin Saffron consists of selected Iranian saffron threads with a deep-red colour and a clean, well-formed appearance. Negin saffron is characterised by relatively long and separated red filaments with the lighter style removed, combining an attractive presentation with strong colouring, aroma and flavour performance.
Laboratory analysis across the supplied weight options recorded crocin values of 240–275, meeting the product’s stated minimum of 240 and indicating strong colouring performance. The tested safranal range of 28–50 represents saffron’s characteristic aroma, while the picrocrocin range of 65–100 relates to its distinctive flavour. Moisture levels ranged from 7.03% to 7.24%, remaining below the specified maximum of 10%.
The intact thread form allows buyers to examine the appearance of the saffron and use it either whole or gently crushed before infusion. It is suitable for rice dishes, soups, sauces, desserts, cakes, confectionery, tea and other beverages. The separated threads can also be used in recipes where visible saffron contributes to the final presentation.
Each portion is placed in a food-grade polystyrene container and supplied inside an Atlas-design cardboard box. The dimensions, quantities and shipment weights of the individual unit, master box and export carton depend on the selected product weight.

Gently crush the desired amount of saffron threads using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon. Add hot water at approximately 70–80°C and allow the saffron to infuse for 15–20 minutes. Add the prepared infusion to rice dishes, soups, sauces, desserts, cakes, tea or other beverages.
The threads may also be used whole when visible saffron filaments are desired in the finished dish.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light, heat, moisture and strong odours. Keep the product in its original packaging until use and close it securely after opening to help preserve its natural colour, aroma and flavour.
Best before 24 months from the packaging date when stored under the recommended conditions.
