Esfedan Grade 1 Super Negin Saffron consists of selected Iranian saffron threads with a deep-red colour and a refined, uniform appearance. Super Negin is distinguished by its long, thick and well-separated filaments, making it suitable for applications where the appearance of the threads is important alongside their colouring, aroma and flavour.
Laboratory analysis recorded a crocin value of 250–285, exceeding the product’s stated minimum of 240 and indicating strong colouring performance. The tested safranal range of 28–50 represents the characteristic aroma of saffron, while the picrocrocin range of 65–100 relates to its distinctive flavour. The tested moisture content was 7.32%, remaining below the specified maximum of 10%.
The intact thread form allows buyers to examine the appearance of the saffron and use it either whole or gently crushed before infusion. This format is suitable for restaurants, professional kitchens, foodservice businesses and other applications that require a larger quantity of saffron threads.
The saffron is placed in a cardboard can and supplied inside a cardboard box. Each master box contains 12 units, while each export carton contains four master boxes. Detailed dimensions and shipment weights are provided below.
