Sargol Saffron is also grade one saffron, like Negin and Super Negin saffron. With only the red parts of the stigma, the treads are shorter than the Negin and Super Negin in Sargol Saffron and they are not connected to the style. Sargol saffron is also called All-Red Saffron or Coupe in the Spanish market.
Premium Sargol Saffron is made from the cut red stigmas of Crocus sativus L. The lighter style portion is separated during processing, leaving clean red filaments with the appearance and characteristics associated with Sargol. The product originates in Iran, one of the world’s principal saffron producing countries.
With a minimum crocin value of 230, a safranal range of 28–50 and a maximum moisture content of 10%, this premium product provides strong coloring performance, a rich natural aroma and a distinctive saffron flavor. These measurable characteristics help buyers assess the product beyond appearance alone. More information about the structure and commercial characteristics of Sargol saffron is available in our dedicated range.
The visible cut filaments allow users to inspect the product before preparation. Like other saffron threads, the filaments should be gently crushed and infused before being added to food or beverages. This preparation method helps release their natural color, aroma and flavor more evenly.
Each portion is held in a food-grade polystyrene container placed inside a cardboard envelope. This format helps protect the delicate filaments from physical damage and reduces their exposure to external conditions before use. The product is suitable for home cooking, restaurants, foodservice businesses and retail distribution. Businesses requiring larger commercial quantities can also explore our bulk saffron range.
