Pushal Saffron also contains the red parts of the stigma but, it has a bit of yellow style as well. This leads to this type of saffron’s coloring power being lower than the other two types like Super Negin, Negin, and Sargol saffron.
Goliran Grade 1 Pushal Saffron consists of selected Iranian saffron threads in which the red stigma remains connected to a small portion of the lighter style. This natural two-tone structure distinguishes Pushal from all-red varieties such as Sargol, Negin and Super Negin, while preserving the recognisable appearance of the saffron filament.
Laboratory analysis across the supplied weight options recorded crocin values of 220–250, meeting or exceeding the product’s stated minimum of 220 and indicating strong colouring performance. The tested safranal range of 28–50 represents the characteristic aroma of saffron, while the picrocrocin range of 65–100 relates to its distinctive flavour. Moisture levels ranged from 6.56% to 6.75%, remaining below the specified maximum of 10%.
The thread form allows the product to be visually inspected and used either whole or gently crushed before infusion. Pushal saffron is suitable for rice dishes, soups, sauces, desserts, cakes, confectionery, tea and other beverages. Its larger-format packaging is also practical for restaurants, professional kitchens, foodservice businesses, distributors and other commercial users.
The saffron is supplied in a decorative metal container. Depending on the selected weight, the container may also be placed inside a cardboard box. Unit dimensions, carton quantities and shipment weights are provided separately for each option below.

The master-box net weight was calculated from the stated quantity of 15 × 500 g. The supplied datasheet lists inconsistent net and gross weights; confirm the corrected figures before publication.
Gently crush the desired amount of saffron threads using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon. Add hot water at approximately 70–80°C and allow the saffron to infuse for 15–20 minutes. Add the prepared infusion to rice dishes, soups, sauces, desserts, cakes, tea or other beverages.
Pushal threads may also be used whole when the natural red and lighter portions of the filament are intended to remain visible in the finished dish.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light, heat, moisture and strong odours. Keep the product in its original container until use and close it securely after opening to help preserve its natural colour, aroma and flavour.
Best before 24 months from the packaging date when stored under the recommended conditions.
