Grade 1 Saffron Powder is made from a blend of Pushal Saffron and the lighter style portion of Crocus sativus. The Iranian saffron is selected and finely ground to create a convenient, ready-to-use powder that can be added to foods and beverages without grinding the threads before preparation.
With a minimum crocin value of 220, a safranal range of 28–50 and a maximum moisture content of 10%, this product provides strong colouring performance, a rich aroma and a distinctive saffron flavour. Its powdered form also supports more consistent measurement in home cooking, foodservice and recipe production.
Each portion is packaged to help protect the powder and preserve its natural characteristics until use. It is suitable for chefs, food businesses and home users preparing rice dishes, soups, teas, desserts, cakes and other saffron-based recipes.
The product originates in Iran, one of the world’s principal saffron producing countries. For commercial quantities and other product formats, explore our complete saffron powder range.
