Pushal Saffron also contains the red parts of the stigma but, it has a bit of yellow style as well. This leads to this type of saffron’s coloring power being lower than the other two types like Super Negin, Negin, and Sargol saffron.
Grade 1 Pushal Saffron is presented as natural Iranian saffron threads, with the red stigma connected to a short, lighter section of the style. This characteristic structure distinguishes Pushal from all-red varieties such as Sargol and Negin while preserving the recognisable appearance of the original saffron filament.
The product datasheet records a crocin value of 220–250, a safranal range of 28–50 and a picrocrocin range of 65–100. The tested moisture and volatile matter content is 6.31%. Together, these laboratory values provide useful information about the product’s colouring strength, aroma, taste characteristics and moisture level. The test report also records a negative result for added artificial colour.
The 0.2 g portion is supplied in a food-grade polystyrene container inside a cardboard envelope. Its compact format allows the saffron to be stored separately until needed and is suitable for preparing rice dishes, teas, desserts, soups, cakes and other saffron recipes.
